I have had this system for over 5 months now and everything is junk! Buy at your own risk!
If someone breaks in and burglary 101 you hear an alarm you go to the source and break it or unplug it. The Ismart system doesn't send anything instantly upon entering a home or if power connection is severed.
The weak alarm is no where near 110db, more like 30. If you leave the room you can't hear it. I originally thought it was the cube so I exchanged it but it wasn't it's the system!
Prepare to have to reboot and relink all cameras to the cube each week and sometimes 2 & 3 times which is extra special being it is a pain in the a$$ to do.
Customer service is prompt but they dont have any answers and even though nice can't help you with garbage equip. They just keep saying we are working the bugs out and improving the firmware to help stay connected and make it loud and to have instant alarm sent out and make blind people see!
Btw if you are over the 30 day return period, you can GFY on getting a return no matter what the problem is.
I don't like this company or this product and sure this garbage company will go out of business.
I hope I saved someone out there some money.

I have the Piper NV but don't want to put all my eggs in one basket, so I am looking for another alarm. Does this have a back up battery like if the power goes out and someone opens the door would the siren still trigger to hopefully scare away would be thieves? Thank you for your time.

Have they made any of the corrections you suggested? I'm looking at getting their system with the new Spot camera that is coming out in a few weeks.

FYI: We just had a home invasion burglary (during the day while we were out at work) and the first thing the burglars did was cut the power at the circuit breaker. That would immediately defeat the iSmartAlarm system, as the system has no battery backup and relies on your internet connection (which turns off with your router when the power goes out).

I suppose one could protect against that by purchasing a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) and plugging the CubeOne, your router, and your cable modem into it so that they all keep running when the power is shut off.

I would really like them to fix the issue you mentioned… I'd also love Apple Watch support. Is there any word from them on either of these features?

Great video BTW. Very helpful as i consider which system to purchase. This is currently top of my list.
